Excellent
Cant understand what all the fuss is with the other 2 reviews. I use this all the time and the mic is very clear. In fact, nobody can tell the difference. The flip open pairing is superconvenient too plus its small size. I really recommend this to anyone.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly
This H700 headset is a real dichotomy. It is extremely light and small. A small boom, in which the mike is located, flips down and switches the unit on. Once paired with the phone (Motorola A1000), everytime the boom is flipped the unit automatically pairs and doesn't have to paired every day, a very good feature indeed. Because of the design of the flip boom, the shape of your face may interfere with the mikes function as it could touch the cheek. In my case the boom is away from my cheek, but there is no doubt that it could touch some peoples faces fuzzing the sound. Peformance wise it is a mixed bag. Volume is just good enough, but not by much. Connection I find good and it doesn't drop calls. Clarity is a mixed bag too. Sometimes it is clear sometimes it leaves a little to be desired. In my case it is extremely comfortable. I can hardly notice it on my ear. Battery life is not bad if left on but excellent if you only switch on when using the flip for a call.
For some people I could imagine this unit being a disaster. In my case it works inconsistently and is sometimes very good. This could have been the absolute best on the market, the design idea is good, but in reality it's performance just about reaches par.

Should not have bought this
The H700 headset I purchased does not meet expectations. I paired the headset with a Motorola V3X and everyone tells me they only hear part of the conversation. Paired the headset with a Motorola V3 and although somewhat better, the earpiece volume is very low, with lots of background noise. My old HS810 headset works fine with both handsets and beats the H700 in my experience hands down.
