Customer Reviews

It cleans the lens.5
My disc player had started to refuse to play certain CDs and DVDs. Not any more! One use of this cleaner and now all discs play perfectly. Buy one.

A MUST for all households5
This is a high quality Philips product. The other review that says this is a CD with brushes on is misguided. This is how you clean the optical lenses on drives. I am a systems administrator and although this may be a CD with brushes on, they are designed to remove dust and other contaminants without scratching the lens.

£3.10 is an amazing price for this item. I just bought it as the DVD writer in my macbook pro was not writing correctly and causing my mastered DVD's to fail. This product has stopped the errors and saved me having to take my laptop to be repaired.

I wouldnt trust an inferior lens cleaner on my drive as a new drive can cost up to £100 and a lower grade product could seriously harm the lenses inside.

BUY IT you wont be sorry!

macbook pro superdrive won't work? Error message?5
My macbook pro would show media error when it came to burning
a disc with idvd itunes or toast. Had to force quit. thought the laser
was gone. But I bought one of these and slippeD it in and ran it twice
according to instructions. BINGO! Now my superdrive works again like new!
SORTED.Great price too. Phew!
