Customer Reviews

Samsung E2504
This is not a bad little phone it has everything on it bluetooth, mp3 player, fm radio (you also get the earphones/hands free), camera its also triband and its very lightweight. The only negatives about this phone is it only has two ring tones, which are both the same except one vibtrates and only one wallpaper and not much option to change message alert tone much the same as the ring tone. But overall the good points outweight the negative points.

Good value, easy to use, good looking, some niggles4
Plus points - very easy to use - get one for your mum. Good looking (the illustration here doesn't do it justice at all, it's a metallic, not a matt finish). Good feel. Pretty sounds (I love the Slider sound and the Harp ringtone)
Beautifully clear screen, reasonably easy to find items without the manual. Clear, well laid-out manual (mostly). Excellent fm radio - easy to set up the preset stations (30 preset slots available so more than you'll ever need), clear sound and holds onto the signal better than any other portable radio I've had. A 4 feature shortcut menu which you can customise. Takes a micro-sd card (well worth £6 extra). Sound via earphones is very clear (but see below). Excellent value for money (my 02 PAYG cost £29). I haven't tried it out, but the different bands available mean it should be usable abroad.
Minus points
Camera is nothing special. I couldn't get the knack of getting the back off to replace the battery or Sim card and I didn't have a teenager handy. No USB connection - you'd better hope that your friends don't get the same phone - you'll need them to pass on their ringtones and music by Bluetooth or you'll need to shell out er.. about £3 for a card reader. Fiddly to get POP3 email set up - manual is unclear on this point - but it can be done.
Not enough volume control. In contrast to Sony this is so loud when using earphones that the lowest volume when phoning is slightly uncomfortable if you have a loud caller. On the other hand, the alarm could do with being a bit louder. You have to choose the alarm tone carefully or you'll be soothed back to sleep. Headphone connection is non-standard - you'll need to buy a connector if you want to replace the supplied earbuds (which are actually of a good quality) or shell out for Samsung ones.
No probs with the famed poor battery life once I switched off Tri-band - I don't need it in most parts of the UK and can always switch it back on. I also switched off Bluetooth when I wasn't using it.

a fab girly phone5
a lovely colour-obviously!easy to use, easy to download ( well if you ask your partner!)lightweight, easy to match in nail varnish...
