Customer Reviews

Great phone - shame about the keypad4
In general, I agree with the previously subsmitted reviews. The phone is feature-packed and fits well in my pocket when not in use. Other reviews have commented on its ugly appearance, but I don't find it a problem.

The only down side for me was the keypad. It's a shame that Nokia have allowed such a great phone to be pulled down by something so basic. I have average sized fingers, and found myself constantly mis-typing when entering phone numbers, or double-typing when texting. The buttons are quite small, and began to irritate my fingers after moderate use. This was such a problem for me that I brought the phone back after a week's use.

Pity, because it has everything I need feature-wise.

Great phone. However, you can buy it for £315 direct from Nokia, on their website. That price includes delivery.

Great phone4
I've had this phone for over six months and it's been very reliable. Before this phone I was a Windows mobile fan, but moving to Symbian S60 I've never looked back. The interface isn't quite as slick as an iPhone (e.g. the auto-rotate function is just clunky and slow), but it's very bug-free, unlike Windows. PC connectivity is great, and the 3.5G is really fast. Internet streaming is generally very good but kills the battery. The camera is good, but the lens is one of the best on a phone, but no match for a proper camera. Video playback is very smooth. Battery life is good but not great. Mine takes an 8GB micro-SD card which is plenty large enough for all your photos maps and tunes. Maps and GPS are good (you get free maps for the whole world) but you have to pay for the voice guidance which is not good value, and it's certainly taken me through some very odd routes. The keypad is a bit fiddly but is a good compromise given the phone's form factor. Sound quality is great, but not audiophile.

I got this phone because it has all of the features of larger phones but actually looks like a phone rather than a small computer, and slips into a pocket.

It drops a star because I'd love a slightly better battery life, better keypad and a slicker user interface, but I've no regrets about it.
