During their heyday, Guns 'n' Roses sold over 20 million albums and performed sell-out gigs all over the world. Ten years since their last album and with only one original member remaining, they are still going strong. Features numerous interviews with and revelations about band members past and present (including ex lead guitarist Slash and bass player Duff). Written by a lifelong fan and featuring previously unseen photographs, this is the only current book on the band.

Axl Rose Project
I read this hoping to find out more information about the band, however I feel the auther would have been better calling it "Axl, the musician that time forgot" There was very little information on the rest of the band members. He went into great detail on Axl's life, including his childhood, arrival in LA and his mental state on the illusion tour, which was very interesting. However I was hoping to find out more about Duff visiting his distant relatives, in rural Cork(Ireland)during the illusion tour, or Slash dying on a hotel landing, or the occasion Izzy found a mexican man lost and dying in the dessert and what happened. Whatever your views on the new GnR are the original members were are equaly facinating men. And I for one would love to hear more of their stories. But for someone who has just discovered this band or just wants to find out a little more about the best rock n roll band ever (!) Its a good buy.
awesome from start to finish!
This is just a fantastic, deeply probing account of one of the most misunderstood bands of all time. It goes into such depth regarding Axl and the other members telling you stack loads of info you will not have seen anywhere else...I cannot recommend this enough, did not put it down for a week!
The Legend Lives on
This book is very detailed and in depth, revealing a lot about the band's past, some stuff that not every G n R fan knows. A good read and tells a lot about Axl Rose and his fairly recent activities with his newest band mates. It also goes a bit into Velvet Revolver.
