Geoff Love produced superb orchestral accompaniment for many artists including Shirley Bassey, Russ Conway, Frankie Vaughan, Ken Dodd, Des O’Connor and Frank Ifield amongst others. This album features 50 sing-a-long wartime favourites with Geoff Love and his band featuring the Banjo section.

Recorded with a live audience who generate a great atmosphere singing all the favourites from the war years.

Brilliant !!
Bought this CD for my nan whos in her 80's. She can't hear very well, but this CD is very clear unlike others I have bought that contain old songs. She has such a lot of enjoyment listening to it, she knows all of the songs. Plus also, being recorded with a live audience makes it even better as they participate with singing & clapping. You must buy it, its great!

a must for the golden oldies
for someone who lived through the war years this brilliant cd brought back great memories of lighter moments in those darker days.with the audience participation it really resembles the times we spent singing and dancing in our village hall all those years ago.my wife and myself love listening and singing along to this great cd, it will soon need replacing.
