Customer Reviews
Football comedy! Score!
V.Funny book. For £4.50 you cant go wrong. And yes, for all the followers of Soccer AM, it DOES indeed include the full Holloway classic quote in which he likens a result to pulling a bird. Genius Holloway... Genius.
simply laugh out loud, shake your head and wonder
Ian Holloway, has probably become more fanmous over time for the things he's said than the things he's achieved as a football manager and this book is a collection of some of the whittiest things he's ever said.
There are some very genuine laugh out quotes, and a fair share of head shakers as you try to work out what he meant or why he said it.
It's not a big book, and it's one of those that you can pick up, put down and return to it as often as you like without getting bored - making it ideal for the downstairs toilet to keep you and your guests entertained.
Tiresome
There are great men and there are men that grate. Holloway's fireside banter is all well and good when surrounded by your mates in the pub but to be honest this purile drivel isn't funny and is often quite sad.
