Welcome to the world of silly but real adult excuses
I bought this book as a gift for my nephew of 17 years to help him along in the adult world... just starting his adult career, I wanted him to be prepared... every excuse and funny with it... very amusing, I wish I'd bought one for myself as well.
There is not enough laughter in this life so more books like this really do help brighten your day.

I like this book but it's not my fault.
For the annoying individual who is never wrong, this book (annoyingly) will fit in their pocket so they will never suffer the embarassment of being proved wrong, ever again. Handily categorised into excuses for every occasion, this book will help you out of tight spots ranging from bad sex to the traditional late for work tales of woe.
Ok, so the majority of these excuses are never actually going to be of any use but comedy is always a good way to worm your way out of a compromising position, after all, how could your boss resist the fact that you had to wait for the viagra to wear off before travelling to work!
Perhaps more of a coffee table talking point than an actual book of reference, great fun all the same.
