A great read for any blue
A fantastic read for any Evertonian, hoping to reminisce or learn a bit more about our past.
Well worth the low cost, and has a real personal vibe about it, clearly told by actual fans.
The 100 Greatest Everton Moments
We've all got our favourite Everton moment, no matter how old we are, be it watching Bob Latchford score his 30th goal of the season in 1978, or Duncan Ferguson scoring his header against Manchester United in 2005, or even just the emergence of yet another great youth talent from the Everton Academy. In "The 100 Greatest Everton Moments" we have tried to capture, as the title suggests, 100 of the best Everton memories.
We've gone back to the very beginning of the Evertonian journey, and delved deep into the historical records to look back at some of the moments that many of us won't have lived to see, and brought it right up to date to capture, forever, the feelings of a new generation of Evertonians as the club gives us our own "greatest moments" to tell our grandchildren about.
From George Mahon saying "no" to John Houlding, to Yakubu scoring his 21st goal of the 2007-08 season, we have captured "The 100 Greatest Everton Moments" and put them all together to relive and remember whenever you pick up the book.
WIth personal memories from former players such as Tony Kay, Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey, and Derek Mountfield, and a foreword by the Liverpool Echo's Everton reporter, David Prentice, the book offers not only an historical reference of the greatest Everton moments in history, but also an insight into the personal reflections of some of Everton's greatest players.
The Memories
Being an avid blue for over thirty two years this book was a great read about some of the best moments from our clubs great history. Its straight forward layout details some of my favourite times watching the blues, including things I had forgotten. I am sure that every Evertonian has their special moments and will get immense enjoyment reading it.
