Customer Reviews

Goes beyond methodology4
I used Cadle as accompanying literature to support my ISEB certificate in project management course notes. It was invaluable for providing a bigger picture than the methodology text books could do alone. The book provides summaries questions and a case study at the end of each chapter which allows evaluation of your understanding before proceeding further. Now used as a desk companion for quick reference purposes.

Useful, well structured book on difficult topic.5
Project Management for Information Systems is a core text for many degree courses in Information Systems. The book is concise, and follows through in a well written style that is easy to understand for the beginner and sufficiently in depth for the more advanced reader to benefit.

I particularly like the broad ranging references to a number of systems development methodologies, and the particular in depth discussions on the roles people assume and their interactions.

I'd recommend this book to any student studying a course in Project Management, and anyone undertaking a project of any size.

Definite book for project management5
The book deals effectively with project management. It has everything that one needs to be manageing projects; from estimation methods to team management. I used the book for my BCS Project Management module and I have no regrets for having bought the book as it helped me a lot. It is good for practising project managers as well as it deals with the issue of how to recruit your staff and how to monitor progress. Don't hesitate get it.
