Product Description

The only book for all self-respecting girls from the team behind THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR BOYS 'The Daring Book for Girls' is the manual for everything that girls need to know -- and that doesn't mean sewing buttonholes! There have been pale imitations of our 'Dangerous Book for Boys' trying to create the same for girls. But nothing has achieved that same feeling of freedom and adventure that the 'Dangerous Book' had in abundance. But now 'The Daring Book for Girls' will fill that gap. It is a real daring book written by real girls for real girls. And what real girls want, just look at their comments on-line, is adventure, excitement, and just as much danger as the boys. So here we present to you Famous Women Spies and Pirates, Women Who Changed the World, How to Make and Fly a Kite, Seven Daring Wonders of the World, How to Survive in the Wild, and how to try to begin to understand why boys show you they fancy you by pulling your hair. The only cooking you'll find in 'The Daring Book for Girls' is cooking over a fire, in the wilderness, while your friends tell you ghost stories to scare you witless!

Your imagination unleashed5
My daughter LOVES this book and now has a 'Daring Book for Girls' bag packed to take with her whenever we go out. The breadth of things covered is amazing; tree climbing, knots, spies, but it also feeds the mind - she wants to watch Elizabeth and has expanded her reading list too, all because of things in this book. The Daring Book for Girls5
Very good book for my eleven year old grand-daughter. Lots of ideas and lots to do. Also plenty of interesting information. She is a girl guide and it fits very well with that. An excellent book

A fun-filled book for all girls (and women!) aged 8 - 805
After having looked at my dad's 'The Pocket Dangerous Book for Boys: Things to Do,' I decided to purchase this book to see if it had any similar content. Although the book is complex in parts, it is still packed with fascinating facts and fun activites to do. It even made a perfect resource for making origami boxes in my calligraphy class.

There are some sections that remind me of my own childhood such as Handclap Games, Skipping, Campfire Songs (although I have never sung around a campfire) and Charades (a fun game from my childhood). I will definitely buy 'The Double Daring Book for Girls' one day. 5/5.
