"I, Danny Wallace, being of sound mind and body, do hereby write this manifesto for my life. I swear I will be more open to opportunity. I swear I will live my life taking every available chance. I will say Yes to every favour, request, suggestion and invitation. I will swear to say yes where once i would say no.' Danny Wallace had been staying in. Far too much. Having been dumped by his girlfriend, he really wasn't doing the young, free and single thing very well. Instead, he was avoiding people. Texting them instead of calling them. Calling them instead of meeting them. That is until that one fateful date when a mystery man on a late-night bus told him to 'Say Yes more'. These three simple words changed Danny's life forever. "Yes Man" is the story of what happened when Danny decided to say yes to everything, in order to make his life more interesting. And boy, did it get more interesting. "Danny Wallace does things few other people would and writes about them in ways that few people could. He's as funny as Bill Bryson used to be." - Nicholas Barber, "Independent on Sunday".

Si a Todo!
This book is great! its starts off with danny. our hero of this tale. however at the start, he is rather dull, and seems to lost his love for life, while taking a bus home, a strange man tells him to " say yes more" and in true danny wallace fashion, he does exactly that, which leads him all around the world. and leads to some very funny situations!
In danny's "yess manifesto" it says he has to say yes to everything, including all invites and requests etc.
so when danny has ges a span email from " the son of a murdered sultan" danny see's the positive side of it, and ends up trying to help him out! eventually he ends up in amsterdam, and I wont spoil that escapade for you!
this is a highly enjoyable book, which is easy going, and makes great light reading! it also ends up giving you a whole new outlook on life, and renember! si a Todo!
YES I LOVED IT!
I cannot express how much i loved reading this book and am now passing it on to every friend, member of my family, co-worker, aquaintance and passer by who will take it!
This is the funniest book I have read in a very long time and any book that makes me laugh out loud on nearly every page is a definite winner!
Danny has a unique and self-depricating style of writing with fantastic dry humour. Every chapter brought a new adventure - my personal favourite must be the Amsterdam adventure due to Danny's little canine friend! haha Although i loved Barcelona & Marc too!
I challenge anyone not to smile whilst reading this book - it is such a breath of fresh air. Get hold of a copy now!

Funny but not sincere
This is an extremely funny book, laugh-out-loud in places. But it's a bit too self-conscious and deliberate, in a way that 'Join Me' isn't. I found it hard to believe that Danny is anywhere near as naive as he puts himself across here, and would have preferred a bit more honesty from this supposedly true account.
For instance, we're meant to believe that Danny honestly thought the e-mail from the 'Sultan' begging him to help move millions of pounds in funds was for real, and that he entered into a correspondence with him because he sincerely thought the Sultan needed his help (and that he might actually get £10 million for doing so). And we're meant to believe that Danny went to Holland because he really thought he had won the Spanish Lottery, despite never entering it - and that his subsequent chagrin at being conned was genuine.
I didn't believe any of this for a second. Danny is obviously very canny, and he has a great nose for concepts that sell, with himself as the amusing subject. The book feels like an experience that he put himself (and his long-suffering friends) through solely so that he could write about it, and for him to pretend otherwise felt a bit irritating and contrived.
But having said all that, this is a good, amusing read, and as long as Danny keeps doing his stupid boy stunts, I'll keep reading them. I just wish he wouldn't expect me to believe that he's completely sincere to boot.
