Prepare to lose your social life......
This is a really good,and addictive game.Who would have thought you could become addicted to it,but you do.You constantly meet you advisors and are offered deals from different cities.If you make a mistake,petitoners will turn up in your office,if you do something really good,you will be commended by petitioners.Sometimes,they will even give you something for free (like a mayors house,for example).You can check everything with a query tool,which tells you vital information and can even let you change how the building looks.But,READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.For an older game,it is very complicated (in a good way),and I tried to use it without reading the instrcutions,but it is too hard.The Instructions come on a disc,but EA games are only too happy to send them to you on paper.

Sim city 3000
At first time I got it, every day and night i would play this game. The graphics are great and so is the gameplay. Sometimes it may get frustrating at times because of the problems with money but thats the fun of the game. I found out also how fun it was to build huge cities with famous monuments or all the transportation systems. The other amazing and fun option is the water and pipes, even though the other version sim city 2000 had it too, it did not change anything, I just find it fun linking everything!
So if you are going to get it, I consider you playing it a bit then think of buying the new versions to have more and more fun!

Retro resource-management at its best
Sim City is a real piece of retro gaming, featuring the same addictive game-play which has made the following games The Sims so very entertaining and popular. The game is somewhat dated now as the graphics are quite basic and there isn't a great amount that happens visually in the game, nontheless it is entertaining and one can spend hours playing it.

The idea is quite simple, you build a working city. This includes monitoring levels of taxes, ensuring that there are enough industrial/commercial/residential areas to keep the population growing. Generally it involves a substantial amount of resource management to get the city to work, though after a certain stage the city becomes so wealthy that you cannot really do anything wrong.
