	Mallrats [DVD] [1995] Buy used from: £0.92 Smith's second film. Not quite as good as Clerks (mainly due to London's poor performance) but it is still hillarious. Jason Lee carries the movie in style watch it just for his performance.
	Chasing Amy [DVD] [1997] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.68 Smith's third and best film. Affleck gives the performance of his life, Lee is yet again outstanding and Joey Lauren-Adams shows how good she really is. Smith fulfills his potential!
	Dogma [DVD] [1999] Buy used from: £1.29 Smith's fourth film. I enjoyed this movie immensly despite public and critical uproar. It does not insult religion nearly as much as was made out.
	Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £1.49 Smith's fifth and final Askewniverse movie. Not inspiring but a good fast-paced romp. Warning, watch the previous movies beforehand.
	Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas [DVD] [1998] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £12.81 Gilliam's masterpiece. A cleverly shot, brilliantly acted movie. The screenplay stays closly to the novel and shows Thompsons insanity in all its brilliance. Buy it!
	Withnail and I [DVD] [1986] Buy used from: £1.10 More drugged and drunk children of the sixties. Despite its lack of any storyline this film remains a superb cult classic. Due mainly to Richard E Grant
	The Big Lebowski [DVD] [1998] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.99 The Coen brothers show all their offbeat glory. The best Coen brothers movie and the best performances from the principal cast. Its absolutely hillarious.
	Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1970s A) by Hunter S. Thompson Buy used from: £4.14 One of the greatest pieces of literature to put it simply. Fast-paced, action packed and shocking. This truly is the best piece of American literature ever.
	Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson Buy used from: £3.00 Utterly compelling. This is the most interesting piece of political writing ever. Thompson can spark interest in any subject.
	The Curse of Lono by Steadman Ralph Buy used from: £17.81 Hard to get hold of a copy but worth every penny. This shows Thompson at his most masachistic, insane best. Not since Fear and loathing has anything gotten quite this weird.
	Kingdom of Fear: Loathsome Secrets of a Star-crossed Child in the Final Days of the American Century by Hunter S. Thompson Buy new: £6.47 / Used from: £2.15 Thompson's most recent novel. Despite its jumpy and incoherant order I found this one of the more revealing and interesting books.
	The Great Shark Hunt: Strange Tales from a Strange Time (Picador Books) by Hunter S. Thompson Buy new: £6.96 / Used from: £2.61 Compilation of articles from Thompson's wonder years. The contrast between articles is amazing but enthralling. Shows why Thompson truly is one of the best journalists ever.
	Better Than Sex: Confessions of a Political Junkie, Trapped Like a Rat in Mr.Bill's Neighbourhood by Hunter S. Thompson Buy used from: £2.99 Thompson has hooked me on American Politics and this is a very revealing political correspondance.
	Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh Buy used from: £0.01 Differs greatly from the film. This is the best piece of hard-edged literature to come out of Britain in the last 50 years. Read it!
	Porno by Irvine Welsh Buy new: £5.95 / Used from: £0.01 Trainspottings anazing sequel. I hope to God that they make film of it. Follows the characters ten years later. For more information read it yourself.
	Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo by Oscar Zeta Acosta Buy new: £8.33 / Used from: £3.50 Thompson's drug addled lawyer shows how he was a more sane and crazy person than anybody in the acid era.
	Revolt of the Cockroach People by Oscar Zeta Acosta Buy new: £13.95 / Used from: £3.73 Acotsa's sequel to his autobiography.
	Run Come Save Me by Roots Manuva Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.48 The best British Hip-hop C.D ever. I've met this man and he is the man.
