Buy used from: £0.01 This is the first book of a trilogy, unfortunately of which the third is quite rare. Set in a universe where all land is a giant wall, it's very interesting and will have you flipping pages.

Buy new: £10.49 / Used from: £7.56 This is by far the greatest series of Sci-Fi books ever written. From Dune to Chapterhouse, that is. The prequils and sequils by his son aren't quite of the same caliber.

Buy new: £4.96 / Used from: £0.01 I would say that the Silmarillion, a prequil to the Lord of the Rings, is better than the book itself. If you can handle the start, that is. It begins very slowly, but once it picks up it's amazing.

Buy used from: £0.28 This is an adaptation of old German folklore; very well written, it chronicles the lives of several German heroes, ending with the grizzly death of each before beginning another man's story.
