Just like the original vinyl...oooh,those where the days!5
Anyone who knows the Icons from way back will be impressed, but new fans are sure to follow!I remember seeing them in Manchester, supporting Conflict at Jilly's.....WOW. They knocked me off me feet! To hear this album again after so many years is a real treat! The early demo's from 198....something where always forcefull and progressive and this recording reflects the rawness and power of the band as they were. I wish i'd kept in touch. They were honest, respectable and bangin'.....The Artwork was absolutely AWESOME too!Check the packaging.TEN OUT OF TEN ALL ROUND!!!

A must for any Brit.anarcho-punk fan.5
Thank you very much Amazon. The Icons of Filth are quite simply the best of the early eighties anarcho-punk bands and this c.d.,a compilation of all their work, must go a long way in convincing any doubters of this fact.As well as the singles and E.P.'s the c.d.also features the album "Onward Christian soldiers",in my opinion their best work to date. With classic tracks like "Sod the children"and "Dividing line"this c.d. never leaves my c.d. player. Relive the old days or become a new fan but buy it.P.S.I also heard they might be reforming.

Powerful message, Powerful music5
I bought this CD without ever hearing Icons Of Filth, many of my friends were big fans, and one of my friends even tried to Resuscitate Stig at thier final show. Under pressure from my peers I bought this album. I listened to it all the way through twice as soon as I got it, and I think it is one of the most consistent punk rock albums I own. When I got the CD I was not very interested in animal rights, or anarcho beliefs, however, I do now life a vegetarian lifestyle and feel the lyrics are more relevent to me now, but dont let that stop you hearing this, as I dont think this made me make the change. R.I.P Stig.
