mummy mummy whats in your tummy4
The illustrations in this book are gorgeous. On each page it asks if a different thing is in mummys tummy, such as a cake, balloon, the moon, the sun etc. It ends with the big reveal "it's our new baby" with a lovely illustration of the new baby in the mother's arms. My two year old daughter really likes this book, although I did have to explain to her that there wasn't really a cake or a balloon in my tummy!

So cute, lift the flap book for tots......5
I bought this book along with 'The New Baby' by Usbourne books and 'The Little Critters - New Baby', my 2yr old loves the others but this is hands down her favourite! She just loves the lift the flap aspect to it and feels really involved when we read it. On each page it asks the question whats in the mummy's tummy? eg. is it a boat painted blue? - my daughter lifts the flap and says 'No' she does this every page until the end when you finally reveal that it is infact a baby in the mummy's tummy - she lifts the last flap and shouts 'BABY!' and laughs! Its so cute! It might not have as much info in it as the other books, like what will happen when the baby gets here - so I would say perhaps get one or both of the others I mentioned too. But this book is so much fun, it's a must for any big brother or sister to be!
