Product Description

Designed in the traditional style of the Wiccan calendar and starting with the Witches' New Year, Samhain on October 31st, all the main festivals are detailed including Yule Lore, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, and finally Mabon, the harvest festival. For each key date, Silja explains the traditions, symbols and rituals associated with the festival, such as the magic circle, the pentagram and the importance of the sun and moon. There are spells and meditations for each day throughout the journal as well as room for a daily record of your own experiences, notes and reminders. There are even green household tips and witchery wisdom for the kitchen and garden to help you connect with the environment, the core element upon which Wiccan beliefs are formed.

Customer Reviews

Pretty4
It's a shame I did not find this diary earlier - I had been looking for a while. It starts in December rather than January and can be used any year because it is not year specific. There is plenty of room for notes and it has little pockets that you can place things inside each month.
The drawings are pretty and there is information about the sabbats, festivals and rituals.

A nice idea!3
This book is a nice idea. It's overall content is very basic, but if you are new to Wicca or Witchcraft is is a good starting point. The book itself is a good size for carrying around and it has handy pockets for sticking extra notes, leaves, herbs ect. The illustrations are very pretty. This would make an excellent gift for a friend just starting out in the craft.
