DVD Description
The sixth season of Smallville, the US teen drama charting the early years of caped crudader Superman, includes arguably two of the most exciting events in the show's history: the formation of the Justice League, and Lex Luthor finally embracing his dark side and becoming the villain we all know from the comic books and classic films. This chapter of the much-loved TV show is filled with plenty of juicy storylines, particularly the love triangle between Clark Kent (played by Tom Welling), Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) and Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum). Characters from the original DC Comics are also introduced, with Green Arrow as a love interest for Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen a beau for Chloe. Added drama comes in the shape of guest character Martian Manhunter, who previously worked for Clark's biological father Jor-El and was sent to aide Clark in his journey. The series ends with a bang, the fallout from which will dramatically change the shape of Smallville in seasons to come.

Synopsis
The sixth series of SMALLVILLE begins with Earth in peril, as Zod (Michael Rosenbaum)--who is inhabiting Lex Luthor's body--tries to transform the planet into a new version of Krypton. As the series progresses, an intriguing love triangle forms between Clark (Tom Welling), Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), and Lex; a few new characters are introduced; and Lex's evil streak builds until he starts to resemble the classic character from Superman mythology. When Clark assembles the Justice League, the show is propelled even further towards the comic books of old. The series ends with a dramatic cliffhanger that suggests further new and exciting possibilities for SMALLVILLE.

This is what Smallville should be like5
This is Smallville at its best. This season blew all the others out of the water. Once again, Erica Durance and Alison Mack are outstanding as Lois and Chloe. There is not so much Clark/Lana will they wont they here which is a massive improvement. Micheal Rosenbaum gets better as Lex every season and here he is awsome.

The introduction of Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow along with the return of Bart Allen/Flash or Impluse, Victor Stone/Cyborg and Arthur Curry/Aquaman makes the episode 'Justice' the best episode of the season. I hope this episode is only the first in which we see the beginnings of the Justice League.

The final episode 'phantom' is not the best finale of all of the Smallville seasons (that prize still belongs to the final episode of season 5). However, it is definatley the most sad. Will one of the characters RIP? My lips are sealed!

BRING ON SEASON 7!!!

The best Smallville ever?5
I have been watching this season on E4 and love it. In season four I thought that the show was going off the boil, but here it is right back on form. For me Season 6 is the best Season yet. I can't wait to own it.

Smallvilles best season yet5
After a couple of rather lacklustre seasons, the sixth season of Smallville is quite simply the best that the show has so far produced. This season continues to see the introduction of more of the wider DC universe such as the heroes Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter as well as the beginnings of the Justice League. This year also sees the marriage of Lex and Lana, Kryptonian criminals escaping the Phantom Zone and ends with one of the best cliff-hangers the show has yet produced. It is difficult for me to pick a favourite episode of this season but I must say the episode `Noir' is a great change of pace and the season finale `Phantom' is also an excellent episode.

This is not to say that the season is perfect, the CGI is somewhat hit and miss in places and there are still some rather cringe worthy episodes, such as `Static' and `Hydro' but these are far fewer on the ground than in previous seasons. Overall though it seams that Smallville is heading in the right direction and I am greatly looking forward to season seven.
