I have suffered the misery of being overweight for most of my life. I have followed most diet systems, some successful for a while, and whilst I did them I was miserable (and so was everyone around me!). Of course, like to many others, I put the weight back on when the diet finished. (Which made me even more miserable!)
Last year, I decided I had had enough of misery and felt that it was time that I honestly accepted that I had weight challenges and try make the whole slimming process – ENJOYABLE AND SUSTAINABLE. I scoured the bookstores and inter-net for the right book – nothing at all! I had it all so clearly in my mind, what I wanted was a book that combined a healthy eating programme, exercises for body AND mind, something that would give me a complete life makeover as well as slimming me down. It had to include how to address life’s issues and not be just another diet book. I knew the author I wanted, someone who knew just how I felt, who had been through the misery of yo-yo dieting; someone who knew how to Coach people, who was an expert in exercise, experienced in Personal Development and a Healer – after all I needed healing from this dis-ease of being overweight. Alas, no book fitted these criteria.
Then it hit me - it took a while for the penny to drop! Me! I was destined to write this book. I was a professional Life Coach, a qualified Yoga Instructor of 20 years, held many qualifications on various forms of exercise – had owned a Health and Fitness Club for 15 years; been a whole food cookery teacher, AND I sure knew the misery of being overweight. I knew this was the right thing to do; it was calling out for this book to be written. The book was so successful it sold out prior to printing! Wow. The book I so desperately wanted – and others wanted - was in me all the time. The great thing is that by writing the book, putting all my knowledge together, I have really found a way that works so well for me and I know it will for you too.

Inspiring
This is is such a great book. I have wanted to find yoga routines that were specifically designed for getting thinner, and couldn't find another book this good.
The poses are explained clearly with step by step instructions and there is a healthy eating programme that accompanies them.
Above all I found the author's words of encouragement and motivation the best thing about this book, you can tell she knows exactly what it's like to struggle losing weight and she has come up with the best way of doing it.
The best by far
It is the best total slimming method that I have tried. It has given me a 5 kg loss on just 2 weeks and I am now at my target weight. The book is so easy to use, all colour coded. By using yoga (i have never done it before) in conjunction with the diet programme in the book I felt brilliant whilst loosing weight. A first for everything. Well done Celia and thanks.
The bigger picture!
Well, I don't know where to start. I've just finished my 4 weeks 'with Celia'. Not that I will stop here! It all seems so simple in the book, which is so easy to read and it feels like I've got her right there, in my kitchen, living room, wherever I am when I read it.
Finally I've found something that works for me. For so long the 'diet-only' approach just didn't press the right buttons (or achieve the weight-loss). With Yoga For Slimmers, you look at ALL areas of your life.
It has helped me with much more than just weight-loss. Everyone is commenting on the 'new me' . OK, so my shape has changed, but that's not what has put the spark back into my life; I am more relaxed and easy going, more focused about my life and what I want/need to keep me happy.
The eating plans are really comprehensive, with CHOICES too. I made loads of the recipes, the food was delicious and easily made too. Every question I had about anything was answered in the FAQ's.
