A good way to enhance & develop your practice further5
I've been doing yoga for 10 years, but have only recently established a daily practice (before then I was rather inconsistent and erratic!). However, I'd generally describe myself as an intermediate yoga student, but still a bit weak in some areas. The main workout (total body arm balance workout) is challenging but not too intimidating, and as usual I found Rodney Yee's manner and tone to be pleasant, friendly and authoritative. I'm unable to do some of the more advanced balances, but it is a pleasure watching Rodney do them instead! There is also scope do do your own simpler versions of a lot of what he does. The "Hip Opening" workout is a nice bonus, its about 25 minutes long, I don't find it too challenging but I find that if I do this before going out to my weekly ballet class my leg and hip strength and flexibility is enhanced (Rodney Yee used to be a ballet dancer so I guess thats why he knows a lot about the importance of hip flexibility!). I'd recomend this to anyone who feels that their practice is stagnating and they need to progress (this was the case with me before I bought this DVD). I personally don't see it as an all round every day workout, for that I'd recommend his power yoga todal body DVD or one of the Baron Baptiste's DVDs (e.g. Soul of Strength). The only slight criticism I'd mention is that I don't find the warm up phase enough for me, so prefer to do a little something by myself before starting. In summary, I'd say this is a very good addition to regular yoga practice, not for beginners but not too intimidating to someone with a good foundation of yoga experience.

Rodney Yee's Advanced Yoga5
This is a very challenging DVD and not for the faint hearted! Like it clearly states - 'this is not for beginners'. Rodney Yee is absolutely brilliant some of the asanas he mananges to get into are amazing, even I myself have become a lot more agile since doing his DVD. It has taken a lot of practice and a bit of unintentional frustration to reach so far - but still have some way to go till I can fully proclaim that I can do the WHOLE 60 minutes of the advanced program. If you are of a certain level in your yoga practice and you want something that's going to stretch you (literally!), then this is the one for you - I fully recommend it.
