A Must Read For All Parents and Teachers
I have a nine-year-old daughter who has been diagnosed with Selective Mutism. This book is superb and I would recommend anyone who comes into contact with a SM child to read it. The book explains very clearly how the child must feel and more importantly, how we, as adults, can help them to overcome their fears.
The book has certainly helped me to develop a greater understanding of the condition and I have even ordered one for my daughter's schoolteacher.
