Customer Reviews

Very Impressed5
I bought both these and the stage 2 cubes. I'm still using both even though my daughter is feeding very well. Some people say not to bother with these as they only use them for 2 weeks. I have been using them for nearly 2 months now.
My daughter loves to have 2 or more types of food together and this is the ideal way of doing it as it gives just the right amount when you add a cube of each food (for instance butternut squash, pear and rice).
I don't put them in the dishwasher as once I've used them I wash them by hand after I've finished washing her bottles, so can't comment on that aspect. I would say that they are brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone. Will definitely be using them for my 2nd if I have one.

Poor quality plastic1
These pots are not worth it, having used them once I now cannot close the lid shut as the plastic is not of could quality they are not freezer friendly or dishwasher friendly...I have realised that if you use an ice cube tray that each cube is the equivalent quantity to the stage 1 pots and you can easily transfer the puree into freezer bags.

Of marginal benefit2
These food pots are a reasonable idea, but are made from low-grade plastic which is too brittle for long term use.

I guess you aren't supposed to use them for too long, since you are meant to move on to Stage 2, but it would be far simpler to buy some larger tupperware-style pots (100ml for instance), as they will last for years and allow you to gradually increase the portion sizes.

This is very much a throwaway product - the pots crack and split over time due to the rigours of freezing and heating.

They are practical, and they do serve a purpose, and they are cheap, but if you prefer to buy things that last, and have multiple uses over the years, get some more rugged pots.

Two stars.
