Excellent value for money, and very good quality editing and voiceover.
For lovers of the last days of steam, this is a very watchable DVD.

The lost railways - with bonus soundtrack
My little boy is mad about trains and chooses this DVD over Thomas! The clips have some stunning scenery and the music is very theraputic. Its not too bland and dry. I'm amazed I'm still happy to hear it after hearing ot played daily over the last few months.

LOST RAILWAYS DVD
This is a very good nostalgic compilation of past railways and lost lines. It has been edited carefully and the voice over is well presented, clear and informative. The film has been edited arefully and past has been compared to present. Good qulaity enhancement of previously unseen film characterises this DVD. It also relates key decisions in the history of the decline of the steam railway and the reasons for the closure of certain lines. A very good bargain with accurate and interesting narrative.
