The 17th edition of this best-selling A3 format road atlas is fully revised and updated for 2008, in a fold-back-flat spiral binding. Each page has been titled with its geographical location so you can turn to the page you need more easily. The Ordnance Survey National Grid is shown on the maps. Plus, static speed camera locations are pinpointed and mobile camera sites are listed. Wide minor roads and A&E hospitals are also shown. There are 64 city, town and port plans including central London and a full colour, unitary and administrative area map. New for 2008 are, more than 200 fixed camera sites added, speed camera specs highlighted, 40 of Britain's World Heritage Sites identified, and Motorway services indexed. The paper in this atlas is produced from environmentally sustainable sources. It also offers a Free magnetic tax disc holder with this atlas.

Good book - shame about the missing item
What set this 'AA' version apart from the others for me was the 'free magnetic tax disc holder' offered with the deal, however on arrival the addition was missing and there was a clear sticky trace where it had once sat.
I have contacted Amazon and hopefully the replacement they are sending will include the tax disc holder, however it is not impressive how these 'free gifts' are obviously not protected from removal prior to shipping.
The atlas itself is very clear and easy-to-use. I cannot raise fault with the product, just the service itself.
Better than good
large pages and clear images make this atlas very easy to read. The spiral binding means the page stays open where you want it.The layout of the maps means fewer page turns- even for quite long journeys (Oxford to Cambridge for eg is on one double page),and a good price makes for excellent value
And a tribute to Amazon-ordered on Saturday pm and delivered on Tuesday at 6.30am!!
