Customer Reviews
Pleseantly Surprised
Although most of the tracks have been on many of the Pure Garage CDs before, there are two main reasons for this - 1. the tracks that are being played are still the best garage tunes around and 2. these are old school CD's therefore this means it is a compilation of all the best older tracks.
From my perspective CD 1 is the best, having all the tracks being mixed with tracks i wouldnt have previously thought would be possible. The other CDs do this very well also but do not contain as many of those Classic Old School tracks and therefore may not have the same sort of appeal.
Definately worth buying if you enjoy this type of music and appreciate how good DJ EZ is. Another Great set of CDs!! (if not perfect, but then nothing is!!)
Disc 1 is the best
I'm new to the whole compilation disc thing. I expected the songs to be the original versions, but no the DJ decides to try and spruce them up, which is OK at times i guess but that's not what i wanted. I wante dthe originals.
The CD entices you with the first disc, but then unless your a true garage fan the others do not appeal as much.
I personally regret buying this, but i'm not a true garage fan anyways, purely commercial stuff so maybe you'd prefer it if you are.
same old
once youve got one pure garage cd you hav basically got them all.
all best of garage cd's hav the same songs so unless you love the tracks dont bother. still a good cd. some great old skool tunes. prefer disc 2.
mixing aint that bad. some songs have been mixed well, somehave been done really badly. but unless you are a hardcore listener, dj or know stuff about djing you aint really gonna notice the quality of mix.
