Customer Reviews
It really does cover everything!
Now I've read a lot of books about scrapbooking and I have to say this was one of the best. It is logical and well organised and still offered new ideas and information. This would be a perfect first book to buy or one to turn to if you are feeling confused by differing advice.
It includes chapters on:
- Organisation and supplies
- photography from a scrappers perspective
- Page design and layout
- creative techniques
- journaling
- computer scrapbooking
- workspace efficiency and cropping on the go.
The photography chapter was particularly useful as it included tips on things such as taking pictures of a Christmas tree with lights and people in the light of birthday candles. There were also the usual tips on group portraits and close ups.
The supplies section offered very handy information about keeping equipment in tiptop condition such as resharpening punches by punching through heavy duty foil or lubricating them by punching through wax paper.
The computer scrapbooking chapter was interesting and included a fairly long list of links of which only one proved to be dead when I checked them and they all seemed like very useful sites.

The ultimate guideto Scrapbooking I felt very useful for ideas, layout, referance, but not a great deal on technique, but I would reccomend it,I find it very useful for ideas when doing differant themes to my pages of scrapbooking.
