Review
This book is absolutely superb - it takes a pilates approach to using the swiss exercise ball, but covers the most comprehensive range of exercises I have seen in any one ball book! Liz Gillies uses a friendly, clear style of writing and best of all - colour pictures so you can really see what she is doing in the excercises. The book is laid out with literally 101 exercises which are numbered so you can find them really easily. Each section targets a different area of the body or position on the ball. Beginners to advanced will all find something to suit them here. She incorporates the use of light weights routine onto the ball too so the upper body is not ignored. I found using this book I was coming across some exercises I'd not seen in other ball books before - there are several 'gems' in this book... I find it a very colourful and encouraging book, one which is easy to flick through and find key exercises, and Liz has included some workout suggestions for targetting certain areas of the body or for use at certain times of the day in the back of the book. I would say it is one of the best ball books I currently own - Ellie Hermann's Workbook on the ball is very good too and Colleen Craig's books are very informative. But if you like your workout books bright, colourful and encouraging then I recommend Liz Gillies to get you hooked! Happy rolling --A Customer
When I received this book through the post I wasn't sure what to expect. But I'm glad I purchased it. I was first thinking about buying a dvd to show how to workout on the ball, but I'm glad I didn't. Clearly this book has so much more to offer. There's such a variety of exercises, all clearly described and illustrated. It is a must for those of you who own a workout ball. --kirans24
If you have a ball and are confussed about if you should do yoga, pilates, general fitness or weight training on it - this ball is perfect! Big pictures, clear instructions, this book is easy to use. Choose your excersizes to work out when you want. Don't waste your money on a DVD that you'll watch a couple of times! This beats any DVD. --MSAHRichards"littlelady"

Really excellent
This is the best book I've read on this subject.Clear instructions and useful photographs.I would definitely recommend it. My one reservation is that maybe it doesn't go into great depth about muscles, with diagrams, etc unlike other books on the subject.
Fantastic!
