Useless!
I bought this knife set for my wife for Xmas, as we need a new set to replace the old Kitchen Devils, and she still uses the old knives - very strange - so I started using them the other day, and found them to be fairly useless for the job! She didn't have the heart to tell me! These knives are serrated, therefore you need to 'saw' to get them to cut - you can't chop, and they are not sharp enough for general cutting. I struggled to even cut up carrots! I tried the carving knife on the Sunday roast, and it just ripped the meat, so I went back to our old knife, which was fine. Very disappointing! I shall be returning the set to Amazon. As kitchen knives go, these are useless. Lovely wooden block, though! No wonder they were on special offer - they can't get rid of them!

Excellent Product at an Amazing Price
Have just received my parcel, ordered it Sunday night with free super saver delivery and received it Wednesday morning. Another quick and painless delivery by Amazon!

I bought this knife set as a xmas gift for my mum, but im starting to wish id bought it for myself. I had spent about a week comparing knife block after knife block and I was starting to loose hope, until I came across this one. All the knives are well balanced, extremely sharp, stylish and very well made. The Bamboo block is also very well made and holds all the knives perfectly and insures that each knife is safely secured by its own magnet. And if that wasn't enough, all the knives are part of the Laser range "looks sharp, stays sharp" and are guaranteed for 25 years!
They must be mad!
Overall a brilliant knife set for under £40!

Good but wheres the Edge?
Bought these knives in 2007 and they were so sharp.

But 2 years on, they are so blunt my missus bought cheap replacements from Morrisions.

I have no idea how they can claim a 20 year guarantee or how to get these knives sharpened.
