As seen on Channel 5 on Christmas Day! Mist is one of three pups born at Borough Farm. From the moment that she opens her eyes she knows that one-day she wants to become a real sheepdog. But things are not as straightforward as she might have hoped. Training with the boss seems to be rather confusing and when Mist tries to impress him with her newfound skills she only gets into trouble. Then there's a bunch of gruff and grumpy rams to deal with, and an auntie who doesn't seem to always have her best interests at heart. Can Mist really learn her craft, and one day prove herself worthy of a place in the team of Sheepdogs at Borough Farm? Narrated by Derek Jacobi and voiced by Mel Giedroyc, Brian Blessed and Una Stubbs this tale will enchant children everywhere.

A beautiful tail...
Mist is the perfect Sunday afternoon family film. Beautiful storytelling and imagery combine to create an emotional and fun treat. The animals are voiced by some of britains top talent and really add to the warm and comforting feel of the story. My neice loves this film and I highly recommend it to anyone of any age who loves farm animals and wants that feel good factor. Just lovely :)
Lovely film!
As a huge fan of Border Collies I bought this expecting it to be a British version of the file 'Babe'. It is far, far better! The first year of Mists's life is told beautifully, and you can't help but be drawn into her trials and tribulations as she learns how to be a sheepdog. The scenery in Devon is fantastic but be warned there is a sad bit (I won't spoil it for you.) This is a wonderful showcase for these intelligent, hardworking (and slightly mad!) dogs. Super for anyone from kids to grown up kids.
a brilliant family film that melts your heart every time
my son first saw thisfilm on chritsmas day 2006. he had just turned one and couldnt take himself away from it. as my mum has a border collie he loved it. so when it came out on dvd i bought it for him and he didnt stop watching it for a month. then the series started on five and he watched it every day it was on. hes now watching the second series and still loves it. it is a brilliant film that makes you feel all warm inside every time you watch it.
