Customer Reviews
Same book, Different title !
Why Allan & Barbara Pease release the same book with a different title and let us believe it's a new book. "Why men lie and women cry" was published first. It is an excellent book and I would recommend it to anyone. If you bought that book don't buy this one - it's exactly the same!
Tired old cliches again - yawn !
Having just read this book - I am so disappointed. The same tired old cliches are trotted out again and again and I learned nothing new. If you want to read something about why men and women are diferent and how to understand each other, then a better book is "Men are from Mars and women are from venus". I just get absolutely fed up reading rubbish like this book - things like why men are better at reading maps than women. I could navigate my father's boat at the age of 7 using sea charts, have always been very spatially aware, have always read maps very well and taught map reading in secondary schools where the boys showed no more "talent" for reading maps than the girls. Yet I have to read tosh like this book. Also I can verify that so called "facts" that are stated in this book about other cultures, hair colour etc are simply not true. Don't waste your money on this.
