The Braun Oral B EB18-2 ProBright Rechargeable brush head features a special rubber polishing cup to naturally whiten and clean teeth for a healthy smile. The polishing cup holds toothpaste to gently remove stains and naturally whiten teeth, while the outer bristles surround each tooth to clean thoroughly.

Its green FlexiSoft bristles bend when in contact with water enabling gentler brushing, while the interdental tips penetrate hard to reach areas. With its indicator bristles, it lets you know when to replace the brush head.

The EB-18 Oral-B brush heads from Braun extend the life and increase the efficiency of your Oral-B electric toothbrush, as you can regularly alternate your brush heads.

Different and effective brush heads
These brush heads are elliptical, rather than the more conventional circular heads from the Oral-B range. The bristles seem to be firmer too.

As the bristles surround the yellow rubber cup that holds onto the toothpaste, the brushing action is purely at the edges of the oval. I think this works surprisingly well. Since the brushing surfaces are further from the centre, they actually move faster than on the smaller radius circular alternatives.

Toothpaste comes more evenly from yellow cup than from between the bristles of a standard head. My partner commented that the toothpaste stays on better when she wets her brush, after applying toothpaste - I personally wet a brush before applying toothpaste, so can't comment ;)

As for claims of whitening - I really haven't seen any signs of change.

These work well as a good general head for an Oral-B brush, but don't seem to meet all of their claimed benefits.

good - but not miraculous
I'm slightly sceptical as to whether this brush can really make your teeth much whiter, but I guess that depends a bit on your starting point. I thought that I would try the pro bright for a change - and again the cleaning is entirely fine, but to be honest I can't see any whitening. It probably comes down to the individual - and I certainly would say it's worth giving them a go. One thing I have noticed though is that the price shoots about a lot. Sometimes 2 heads are less than half of what you pay for a pack of 4. So buy at the right price, don't expect miracles, and marvel that brushing your teeth became a major consumer choice.

A replacement toothbrush head, if you have an Oral B Electric/Rechargeable toothbrush one of the more expesive ones IQ4000/5000 then these may be the replacement heads you have been looking for.

They slip on the brush as well as the original heads supplied with the brush. Have that natty little couloured ring so you can distinguish who's head is whos.

If you have the brush then these are excellent replacements if you dont have an Oral-B brush then theer really is not much point in investing in these.
