It's really a sequel, you know.
While I cannon complain about the success of this book and the deck of the same name (thanks to all of you who bought them) I really do want to point out that it was written as a sequel to The Witches Qabala, which was re-issued in 1989 as The Goddess and the Tree, Book 1 of the Witches Qabala. The first book covered the spheres, and this one, the paths. If, by the way, you have been looking for Book 1, a revised and expanded edition will be released in a few weeks from Weiser, under its original title. It is available from Amazon.com.

Thought provoking, very deep
I bought the cards some months ago and received the book for Xmas. It has taken me this long just to get through the major archane. I would advise reading the book prior to this one. I found it a bit confusing to start but once I got into it things became clearer and the meanings of my cards deepend. The deck on it's own is very powerful but when teamed with the knowledge and teachings in this book it becomes awesome. Be prepared to spend long hours just rereading sections while studing the cards. It's an awesome book. I highly recommend it as the next step on your path.
