Great photo printer
I bought this to produce art and photography prints as it claims to have excellent print longevity.
The quality of the photo prints is superb, but it also does well for some general office printing. The only complaint is that the first ink cartridges run out quite quickly since they are needed to prime the printer, but thankfully you can buy individual inks of the colours you use most often.

Epson P50 Photo Printer
This inexpensive printer has all the great features of really expensive printers. It has 6 individual inks, very quiet running, first class printer with great photo results.

Epson P50 photo printer
My old Epson printer recently died after years of good service. I decided to get another Epson and chose the P50. Big mistake! On straightforward multi-page printing it printed the first page OK and then churned out gobbledegook. On photos it sometimes printed reasonably well on plain paper but on photo paper only printed 10%-15% of the picture then ejected the paper. I rang Epson's ridiculously named "Customer Interaction Service" and after 45 frustrating and unhelpful minutes was advised to return the printer or take it for repairs.

I returned the machine to Amazon and, with their usual efficiency, a replacement arrived promptly. This second printer made exactly the same errors as the first - even my computer man was baffled. This machine too was returned.

I now have a Canon Pixma MP560 and so far all is well.
