Synopsis
What's the story in Balamory? Wouldn't you like to know! Join Archie as he makes some clever inventions for all his friends in Balamory? .

"Doctors and Nurses" - Miss Hoolie asks Archie to help with a hospital game for the children, but he doesn't know what to make. Luckily, Edie McCredie is able to tell him about her recent visit to a hospital, which helps Archie to come up with a fantastic idea.
"Fish Supper" - When Miss Hoolie organises a fish supper at the nursery, she calls on Spencer for help. Spencer and Archie make a fishing game, but Spencer forgets to order the fish and it looks as though there will be nothing to eat. It's down to Suzie Sweet to make sure that the fish supper is a success.
"Newborn Baby" - Spencer goes to see Penny Pocket and Suzie Sweet in order to buy a present for his neighbour's new baby girl, but ends up making mischief instead. He buys some paper plates, but how can he make them into a present for the baby? Archie has the answer.

Customer Reviews

WOW!5
Any Balamory item is good in my children's eyes. Fun real-life characters with recognisable traits and different coloured houses. Archie is lovable!

Not just for kids5
I am a 24 year old male, who really loves balamory, and this DVD is just great, set around my favourite character Archie, it is of course for children, but there enough silli-ness for adults to find funny. Recommended to everyone.

Doesn't disappoint4
My two year old twin boys love Balamory and this DVD doesn't disappoint. The usual child-friendly formula is evident in:
"Doctors and Nurses", Archie and Miss holie have some role play fun.
"Fish Supper", The nursery organise a fish supper.
"Newborn Baby", Spencer deliberates on a suitable gift for his neighbours newborn.
"Power Cut" (DVD only), When the nursery looses power Archer improvises with a non-electric TV.

The DVD special features add some additional interest.

The only criticism I have is that the product would be better value if it included more episodes.
