- Thanks to the waistbelt this lead is suitable for sportive people, as the hands-free system allows the dog owner to practice sports like jogging, walking or even fast promenading. The integrated expander softens sudden tugs, which happen when the dog heavily pulls on the lead. The Hands Free lead also includes a special hook with patented rotator, which prevents the lead from getting twisted and ensures a relaxed walking for dog and owner. Hands Free lead is fitted with 2 pockets for storing e.g. mobile, dog treats, drinking bottle etc. Reflective stripes offer additional safety for dog and owner while participating in road traffic or walking off-road.
Customer Reviews
Jolly Useful, What..
Yes, if you are looking for a longish leash for training purposes or keeping your monster under control for short periods... this does the job. Comfortable to wear and comes with some handy extras that slip onto the belt, for those who like to 'go tooled up'.
Of course - you could just loop a long leash around your middle - but this item is tailor made for non- garrotting so 'tis ideal for training a young & Boisterous puppy/dog. The snap on belt and strong couplings seem up to the task and there's just a bit of a stretch in the belt & leash fabric, so if the dog takes off suddenly, one isn't dragged off - in the manner of hapless cowpoke hog tied to bolting horse by bad guys i.e., see cowboy films of the 50s for ref. - but one has time to brace oneself before bringing the little swine to heel. Obviously, the pulling will need to be addressed or else it'll take it's toll on the elasticated belt. I can't say I've tried jogging with the dog, but I can see that this would be fine, on the premise that you can keep up with the dog in question. (If the dog will insist on pulling... you will find it a most useful aid for getting up those particularly steep hills... not unlike walking on the moon I suspect - but I'm not sure that this would be entirely fair on the dog.)
