The best headphones I've ever used
First things first - The sound Quality:
Even though this is a "PC VOIP" headset, this is simply the best pair of headphones I have ever used...better than the pair of JBL I bought for twice the price!
The sound is natural, clear and the bass is excellent!
I've had this for some 8months now and I still love it
Getting to a more detailed analysis, here's some pro's and con's
The good:
1. (Like I said above), excellent and unsurpassed sound quality
2. Long extension cable allows for freedom to move around while on a call.
3. Neutral design means you can wear the microphone on either the left or right side.
4. Comfortable over-the-ear fit which helps for long durations. Personally I dislike the around-the-ear ones because they drown out all outside sound.
The bad:
1. No volume control. This is about the only bad thing I can think of; and thus I whole-hearted give this a 5/5.
Super Skype headset
I bought this as a reasonably cheap headset for Skype calls. It is superb for that - nice and light, good sound quality all round and reasonably cheap - much better value than all the more expensive headsets I've tried and simply better than some.
It is also good for listening to music, but I don't do that much - you'd probably want a better set, with more bass, for that.
Yes - I know you can get cheaper headsets, and I've tried a few really cheap ones, but the PC31 is great value.
Superb
A few months back, I bought a set of sennheiser headphones as a birthday gift for a family member. The quality in sound blew me away so when my Logitech headset broke, I thought I would give these a go. They are similarly priced and though the Logitech ones did the job, these are way out there in sound quality. The quality of sound is incomparable, I have only just had them and I have only listened to the one album, Ash 1977. After that I think my pc speakers are going to be made redundant and am wondering if I will look like a tool with them connected to my i-pod.
They go feel a little cheap though, but do fit comfortably, very happy.
