Does not work with TZ6
This battery does NOT work with the Lumix TZ6 - the camera comes up with an error message stating it cannot be used and switches off. I am requesting a refund. Apparently it is because I have firmware version 1.2 (the latest) in my camera, however Amazon should make this clear on their site as this is no longer fit for purpose in the TZ6.
And also, it is not the one shown in the picture - it appears to be a very inferior Chinese made device, covered in Chinese script.

Got this battery as a back-up for my Panasonic Lumix TZ7. So far it has performed perfectly, but I am a little put out by the fact that this battery's capacity is only 800mAh as opposed to the 895mAh of the genuine one. I haven't noticed the difference yet but time may tell...

Good alternative
Bought this battery because the Panasonic version was not available. Seems to work as well as the original and to last as long or longer.
