You won't find better
I've connected this cable between my Sony Bravia and a Sony DVD recorder and the result is Brilliant, and despite being a fussy Git I cannot fault the picture or sound quality. I don't know the true RRP.of this cable, Amazon say £29.99 and I've seen it advertised for £39.99.This certainly isn't a cheap cable,It looks and feels quality and for the amazon price of £12.71 it is a real bargain,You also get the great Amazon service as a bonus. As for the Expensive v. Cheap HDMI cable debate, just remember the tale of 'The Emperor's Suit of Clothes',It says it all.
Bargain HDMI cable which does the job of much more expensive alternatives
I have more expensive HDMI cables and own five different ones. I've tried swapping them to see if I could detect a difference and I have not succeeded. I am not saying that all cables are the same but if there are are qualitative differences I have not noticed them. I use a Sony BDP-S350 and PS3 and playback on a Sony Bravia 40" 1080P screen. If you want to pay more go ahead but you'll be hard pushed to see much better performance at 3 or 4 times the price. Save your pennies and get decent kit in the first place. The old adage is "rubbish in, rubbish out" so when planning your systems spend the money on the source equipment to get the full benefits. This lead is attractive, appears robust, and delivers a clean signal. Go ahead any buy with confidence.
Hmmm...
Bought 3 of these cables, and while it works well, thats when the picture isn't dropping out when you watch 1080p/24Hz picture with a HD sound option passing through. Seems to struggle when I have played both PS3 Games and Blu-Rays.
And one of the cables stopped working altogether. It had passed the returns policy on Amazon so i contacted the Manufacturer, it having a lifetime guarantee I thought there would be no problem. Contact them, which was hard finding there details, there website not having any contact information, not even email. And so I had to find out the packaging which had a phone number, called them, and was told a replacement was being sent out. 3 weeks later, nothing. called them again, they apologised sent one out, nothing arrived after 2 weeks. called again, went through to some guy on his mobile driving home because the office had closed??? not very professional. He then said he would make sure one was sent out the next day back in the office. 2 weeks pass again I go to call them, and all the contact numbers come back as "number not recognised".
Looks like a job for the office of fair trading.
