Replacement battery for panasonic Lumix TZ7
As long as you have firmware 1.1 installed on the camera this works perfectly. If you upgrade to firmware 1.2 it will not work.(no point upgrading really as the only thing the upgrade will do is stop you using 3rd party batteries!)

Works fine
The Panasonic DMC-TZ6 camera comes with an "ID Secured" battery. I was concerned that a non-genuine battery may therefore be a problem. However, having been unable to find a genuine Panasonic DMW-BCG10E, I can verify that this battery works just as well (and is considerable less expensive).

"THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED"
My newly purchased Panasonic Lumix TZ7 gives the message "THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED". From another review of yesterday I see this is because firmware 1.2 is installed :-(
