A great little camcorder
Its small, light and tough, just what I was looking for. Simple to use, uses mpeg2 format (actually creates .mod files but these can simply be renamed to .mpg and they play straight away when played back on my Archos 605wifi media player).

This means I can take the camcorder on my hols and copy movies to my Archos as I go - saves having to buy several SDHC cards. It's a shame Panasonic does not include an SDHC card with the device - it can't be used without one so where's the sense in that?!

good for a waterproof/shockproof small camcorder.
it's great that I can put it in my jacket pocket, not worry about it and take it out to film my kids. I dont think I would have used another camcorder 1/2 as much, because i would be worred about breaking it.
Great that it takes SD cards, they are pritty cheep and easy to keep a few extra.
battery is small and battery life is not great, I recomend purchasing extra batteries
on the + side the battteries are the same that go in my panasonic camra.
one less charger to worry about on a trip

negative point: the camra is useless at taking still pictures, you might as well forget it and carry a cheep camra with you, or a camraphone. this came as alittle shock as you can get better camras on a phone, wot is stopping this from taking better picts?

Better than expected
Much easier to use, but the features are basic. Nice compact size and nice to hold/use. If you want something straightforward to use on hols at the beach, then this is great.
