A BEGINNERS BIBLE
After purchasing quite a few papermaking books I would say this is the best by far.Good basic instruction, step by step photos, excellent chapter on paper and fibers. Lots of decorative techniques ie:embossing, botanicals,colouring, veining, texturing, casting and many more. Hints and tips abound. I will be teaching papermaking to adults shortly and am most confident now that I have this wonderful book to assist me.

Excellent instructions
I needed to make the paper for my son's wedding invitations so I bought the book. I didn't use his methods entirely,but there are some very interesting ideas and there is a lot of detail so you can make good paper from the instructions.
The moment when you lift the deckle from the water and first see your paper is magical; if you haven't tried this craft before, it's very satisfying. And if you're a card maker, there are some very useful suggestions. You can make that expensive paper incorporating plant material for almost nothing!
