Talk about a Bad Hair Day4
Karen MacInerney has created a very funny story with the tails of Sophie Garou. On the Prowl is the second book in the Urban Werewolf series. It follows on a couple of months after the first book. You will need to read Howling at the Moon before this book .

Sophie yet again gets herself in all sorts of trouble. My favourite quote from the book is "I was just like James Bond! Well, if James Bond was a female American werewolf/auditor, that is." Sometimes it is just hard being a female werewolf. Health is starting to spend a lot of time in the office with the new blond haired, blue eyed associate. A woman who Sophie immediately nicknames Career Day Barbie. Tom is back in the picture and is still seeing Lindsay. Lindsay who is Sophie's best friend and has no idea that both Tom and Sophie are werewolves. Not to mention the heat that Tom and Sophie generate. Sophie's new account Southeast Airlines CEO is also Texas's brilliantly blue-eyed most eligible bachelor. Then there are the Texarkana werewolves who want Sophie to be there Alpha. The Houston werewolves have found Sophie and want her to join their pack. Unless she proves that she is loyal to the Houston pack Sophie may become werewolf chop suey. How much more excitement can a girl have?

The only reason that I have not given five stars is that their are so many good books out their now in this genre that I feel I have to be harder with the marking pen. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I thought that this book was amazing. I love this book and the first one 'Howling At the Moon.' She seems like an actual (really cool) person and you just get caught up in her story.

Werewolf with a razor2
A fun read but the premise that werewolves can live hidden among us is not very likely if the main character seems to need to shave her legs every 2 or 3 hours !
