Synopsis
Being the mother of three, no one know how harder it is to maintain a figure than TV personality Davina McCall. Ably assisted by her personal trainer, Davina presents an effective programme that enables the use of exercise during pregnancy and helps you get back into shape after childbirth.
Customer Reviews
Money well spent
I bought this after a C-section as I couldn't do much exercise for weeks afterwards and wish I'd bought it to do throughout my pregnancy as well. Its very, very gentle so a bit of a shock if you're used to high-impact stuff like me, but its perfect to use throughout your whole pregnancy (and better than doing nothing at all) and straight after giving birth while you're still a bit fragile and self-conscious. Its easy to follow and, wonderfully, Davina actually looks pretty big when she's doing the pregnant work-outs and a bit wobbly in the post-natal ones - great for lifting the spirits :)
Money well spent if you do this a couple of times a week for 9-12 months.
Dvinas pre and post natal workouts
I am not a fan of exercising and I have brought many excercise DVD in the past which just end up collecting dust in the corner. I brought this one to tone up after having my baby, and it is excellent. It is not to high powered so it is not intimidating and its approach is very realistic. I have been doing the DVD on average 4 times a week for 2 weeks and I have lost 6lb. I have also noticed that my legs bum and tummy are toning up nicely. This is well worth the money!!!!
Davina Pre and post Pregnancy
Having been an avid runner and davina DVD follower pre pregnancy, this is perfect. It's gentle, about 40 minutes and packed full of useful tips. I swim three times a week and add this into my routine when I can. (Started it about 3 months gone). You don't sweat (because you shouldn't) but its fun and keeps your muscles moving and hopefully toned! Gives me that feel good factor. Highly recommend it if you like Davina!
