    free your tunes! hmmwoahahaha5
I bought this as I needed something to charge my ipod while in another country as well as at home rather than just plugging into my computer. As I am travelling to australia at some point this year I also needed something to charge my ipod without using an AC or laptop. I had intended on getting one of those wind-up torches that also charge phones as I had seen an adapter available for the ipod. I thought this package would be perfect as I could charge other devices as well without looking like a complete pillock winding the thing up. The pocketpower and worldtour kit is much smaller in comparison, which I needed to consider when taking on the plane.

The pocketpower takes 4 x AAA rechargeable batteries (included), so if you're taking your ipod on a long flight or on holiday with limited power source it certainly comes in handy. The inital charge time is roughly around 5 maybe 6 hours, which was good in my opinion and shows a green light to let you know that its fully charged (also a fairly bright torch - they've thought of everything! ^_^). From looking at other reviews it gives you an additional 8 hour play time for your ipod. I recommend taking extra batteries if you don't want to get caught short (if on long flights or in an area with limited power source or are charging more than one device). The AC charger allows you to charge the ipod shuffle and has an adapter to allow you to charge some of the other ipods as well. It comes with a USB to USB cable which allows you to charge your pocketpower from the AC or from the computer. The only thing is if you want to charge your ipod from the pocketpower you will need the usb cable that should come with the ipod unless you've got the shuffle. The AC comes with UK, US, European and Australian plug attachments. So far I've only used the UK one which works fine with my ipod and have yet to use the powertrip.

Please note that it is only compatible with 4th generation ipods, mini's, videos, the shuffle and the nano. I've got a ipod classic which works fine with the chargers. Just remember to take the little plastic bits out from under the batteries before charging the pocketpower. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to kill several birds with one stone when it comes to charging your ipod. Superb price for what you get. I'm dead chuffed with it and can't wait to put it to good use. Bargain!!!!
