    for all learner drivers5
Superb. Cause of the new format of the Driving Theory Test, this is a must. The hazard perception is something that needs to be practiced and this is perfect for it.
It got me through my theory and boosted my confidence for it beforehand.
    Well worth it.

Boost your knowledge and your confidence!5
Thought I would write my own comments on this product after reading the other views when I first bought the software. I decided to pursue the PC learning style after I remembered the cumbersome task of trying to read the highway code some 17 years ago when I sat my car test, I think I got it right in this case, although I still bought a new copy of the highway as reference point. I have applied for my motorbike test and therefore had to familiarise myself with the changes in the procedure since I last investigated it. This software covers both the Theory and the Perception part of test and from the off I have to say that the Theory disc is excellent. It has the full bank of DSA questions, I didn't bother using incorporating the Unofficial Test questions as I wanted the keep the practice as close to the real thing. It tracks your performance over each test and highlights weak areas to focus on in the training, so big thumbs up from me on the theory. In regards to the Perception disc I have to agree that the quality of the video is not the best but it is watchable and it responds to the mouse clicks. I found it most helpful because at least it gives you some inclination of what to expect on the day. I noticed there was a common thread in the other comments about clicking too early when you see hazards and the PC not responding to this, I found this aswell, but based on 17 years of driving a cars I don't think the software is a fair reflection of my driving, maybe I was spotting hazards earlier than first time drivers whom the software is more geared towards. I found in my practice sessions I was achieving a score of 80% on each test so at least I was getting an indication of my score. So, to close, should you buy it, yes it does make a difference, I took my test today for real and got 35 out of 35 on the Theory and 80% on the Perception, all most too close to the practice sessions for comfort.
Don't worry about the Perception part of the test, it wasn't that bad after all.

Theory GREAT, Hazard a big dissapointment4
I bought this with a week to go for my theory, the theory aspect of the prduct is excellent, it gives you a practice exam, set out just like the real thing. At the end it tells you where you went wrong, and you can also look through and learn all the questions that could appear on the real test.

The hazard perception on the other hand is a great dissapointment and i am finding it VERY frustrating.
The video quality is poor, the hazards never seem to be where you think they are, and i havnt passed one practice test yet on it.
In the practice mode it shows you a clip so you can find the hazard then it shows you it again this time telling you the hazard, i have found that when it shows you the clip the second time round it is longer than the first time and the hazards wernt even on the clip that you were shown first!!

Overall a good product for learning the theory aspect but dont purchase for the hazard perception!
