A very valuble book5
I've had IBS for 4 years. I found this book in my nearest bookshop and I can say without any doubts that I'm very proud of my purchase...
For anyone who suffers occasional or strong symptoms of IBS, this is a very useful, encouraging and valuble book to have in your book collection.

What it does mainly is explains what IBS is, how the stomach and gut functions, etc. (If you have IBS then you don't need me to tell you about the stomach). Anyway, it introduces you to IBS and tells you the symptoms related to it. Then, it very clearly begins giving you many useful tips and advice as how to overcome your troubles with IBS, like relaxation techniques, tips on what is and isn't good to eat/drink and even tells you how to overcome your fears related to IBS. It's quite an enjoyable book to read too. It's not another one of those confusing scientific books that nobody except a genius would understand.

I am very happy with this book because ever since I bought and read it, my life has been a lot happier and my symptoms are much easier to cope with and control. It gives great tips on how to overcome stress and troubles of IBS. I am a much happier and stronger person because of this book.

Give it a go if you suffer IBS, you WON'T regret it...;o)

Good, Helpful, Definately a keeper4
I first found this book in my local library, I began reading it in desparation having suffered from IBS since childhood. At first I couldn't be bothered with all the recipes & I don't think stress is an issue in my case, but using the diet plan as a guide to my own eating habits I've been able to eliminate the worst triggers & learn what I can & can't do. I'm now buying a copy to have to hand all the time. I'd recommend this book to anyone & ask them to give it a try. It might seem a bit of a gimmick to begin with, but my husband can vouch for how much better his life is too, now I'm not ill all the time.

Forget the Bran.5
If you want a no nonsence approach to a complicated problem, read this book. With insights from individual suffers to identify with, their story and recovery. The book shows that not all suffers have the same symptoms and the solution will must likely be different from person to person. Yes, it has a diet section with a ten week plan, including 'Fast Options' and recipes. It may change your life with a little effort.
