Customer Reviews

The comprehensive book for migraine sufferers.5
To migraine sufferers (1 in 10 of us!) this book should be at the centre of your library of research. As a severe sufferer myself this book proved to be the most helpful and informative source in the fight against the migraine. The myriad causes of migraine are covered in a clear concise manner. Helpful hints on how to avoid, or lessen the severity of an attack are provided- from the obvious avoidance of particular foods to checking that teeth are not the cause. The most modern range of homeopathic and medical treatments are covered - vital in convincing the unsympathetic doctor to your plight and getting help. The most important reason for buying this book is the vast array of personal stories told by sufferers. In a world where most people believe the migraine to be nothing more than a headache this aspect of the book saved me when I felt I could no longer cope - knowing you are not alone is sometimes the best cure of all. I recommend this book to anyone who suffers from this disabling and widely misunderstood affliction.

A very useful little book5
I am hard-pressed to think of any way in which this book could be improved. If you suffer from migraine - or knows someone else who does - it could be essential reading. It opened my eyes about the drug treatments now available, for example. It's a bargain price, too.
