Customer Reviews

A useful,informative book.Easy to read.5
I am an Occupational Therapist.I purchased this book because I had my first patient with MND.I found it very straightforward and as positive as it is possible to be about this distressing condition. It was unafraid to answer questions that patients and their families don't always want to ask like 'How will I die?'.I have lent it to my patient's daughter who has found it very helpful.

An essential summary for those who want to know about MND5
My mum did not survive long enough after being diagnosed with MND for this book to be of use to me in caring for her. However it deals with all the questions I had and sets out answers to difficult questions in a compassionate yet logical way. For anyone who has the illness - or for those who are caring for a loved one with the illness - this book explains the effects of MND without medical jargon.
