What a help!!!
This book provided lots of facts and experiences, all of which were informative and interesting, but more importantly if offered a more positive look at this disease for those that have just discovered they will have to include CF as part of their lives. I have lent this book to several people - it got lost so I am now buying my second copy as I can refer to it constantly
So Helpful!
I got this book out from the local library and it is absolutely brilliant.
There are plenty of books out there for people with an interest in the physiology of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) but not for the sufferers and their families to help them cope with the strains CF imposes. This is where Cystic Fibrosis: A Family Affair comes in. Its basically a collection of interviews with parents and CF sufferers. It really helps you get a bit of perspective and I personally found the parallels with my own family very suprising.
I've found it was really good at helping me cope at times of conflict or stress related to CF.
